birthday

the scene was lembah pantai, Pantai Medical Centre to be precise. the year was 1985. after months of planning, and hours of battling, at 8.40 PM, Thurday, the 28th of February a baby boy was born. Faizal was the name given to this little boy.

Fast forward 24 years later, and the boy has grown in to a man (alleged). And just finished celebrating his birthday.

this birthday has been one to remember. and i have my friends and family to thank for that. for the first time ever i had a quad celebration.

1. 25th Feb 2009
was surprised by The Usuals at Marco's Pizza, Kelana Jaya. went there for what seemed to be Nana's farewell before she went back to Kiwi-land. ended up with a surprise on my end for an advanced party. thank you shaz, mal, din, hana, hani, puchi, nana, sue and last but not least zura.
was indeed a big surprise even though the waiter brought the cake knife first. actually, to tell everyone the truth, when he brought the knife and nana burst out laughing, i seriously thought that the surprise was on Nana. it didnt even connect that it was for my birthday.


2. 27th Feb 2009
got cornered at the office. was sitting peacefully at between kak marinah and kak radzlina looking at old pictures of the SSD&P family when sham grabbed me from behind. out of nowhere a tub of strawberry icing appeared. everyone proceeded to smear icing on my face and then the cake was brought. hehe. a good one. didn't see that coming. thank you to kak marinah, kak radzlina, kak gee, boss, kak zizi, mai, che ar, sham, shaun, fehmi, azura, nani and che mah

3. 28th Feb 2009
was a small gathering at home. good food, a cake and the extended family was there. simple and sweet. thank you yaya, apis, mama, abah, lya, pear, kak anne, abg nazri, siddiq, amir and last but not least zura.

a big gathering at my home away from home. lepak, laughing and good company. extremely good cupcakes. but due to an uneasy stomach, i didnt get to enjoy much of it. almost managed to get all the bros together. technically all came, but ash had to leave early. special mention goes to 2 representative of Fubson for making it too :)
