of the top of my head, i can recall this as the spec:
Pentiom D (LGA775) 2.8GHZ
2GB of 667MHZ ram via 2x512MB and 1x1024MB
200GB SATA Drive
EVGA nVidia GeForce 7600 GS SLI ready
SLI ready Asus Mobo (can't remember specific model) it is however SLI ready
19" CRT monitor (lol monster of a monitor. if it was a 19" LCD, it won't be bad)
was looking at what i can do with it and saw that the current line of Core 2 duo and Core 2 quad processors are using LGA775 sockets also. which means i can easily swap the processor to something faster. and i still have 1 empty slot for memory. not to mention i still can easily change the 512MBs to 1GB later.. curse the 32-bit system's limit of 4GB.
i did however extended my virtual memory range from between 2048MB-4096MB to between 4096MB-5120MB
this is currently the temp placement for the rig.
i kind of like it where it is, but it's a little too cramped up for typing and gaming as there is no space to put the mouse and the keyboard other than my bed. getting a table soon for it anyway. so the positioning will change.
ironically however, this post is done at work instead of using the kick ass new rig.

haha..tah..but rig is more suitable i think..
rig implies a specifically built device, while pc is more of a general term..
example :
gaming rig
entertainment rig
file server rig
mine would be entertainment rig..
same here. nothing makes sense. other than the usual ram bla bla. sounds so gibberish to me. haha. crap.
